Bose Public Affairs Group Promotes Amy Cornell to Vice President


INDIANAPOLIS – Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Amy Cornell has been promoted to vice president at the government relations and strategic communications firm. With an extensive background in agribusiness, Cornell will lead and assist clients with the agricultural, rural
development and related business sectors, focusing on policy and state and local government
relations.

“Few people in Indiana have the policy experience, knowledge and relationships that Amy has earned
and created throughout her career,” said Doug Brown, managing principal at Bose Public Affairs
Group. “Amy is a true professional focused on her clients’ success and we look forward to her
continued growth in this new role.”

Since joining Bose Public Affairs Group in 2016, Cornell has represented critical players in
Indiana’s farming industry, such as Indiana Pork. As a member of the government relations team,
Cornell has also worked with the Indiana Economic Development Association assisting Indiana’s rural communities with land use planning, policy and infrastructure.

“Amy is an incredible asset to our firm and a champion for the state’s agribusiness sector,” said
Trevor Vance, principal and managing director of government relations at Bose Public Affairs Group.
Cornell also serves as president of the Agribusiness Council of Indiana, a coalition of 250
Midwestern grain, feed, fertilizer and ag chemical companies. In her role as president, she leads
the strategic activities and planning of the association. She also directs the Emerging
Professionals Leadership Program, a one-year program that provides resources on the most critical
agriculture issues as well as introduces participants to key industry and policy leaders.

In addition to her public affairs practice, Cornell is of counsel in the Agribusiness Group of Bose
McKinney & Evans LLP. She is a 2017 recipient of the Indiana Lawyer Up and Coming Lawyer Award and graduate of the Indiana Leadership Forum. Cornell was also recently selected by her peers to serve on Government Affairs Society of Indiana board, an organization dedicated to promoting the highest degree of professional and ethical conduct with government entities.

Cornell teaches agricultural law at her alma maters, Robert H. McKinney School of Law and Purdue
University. She holds a LL.M. in agricultural law from the University of Arkansas School of Law and
is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association. Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs
Group, Cornell served as policy advisor and counsel for Indiana Farm Bureau.
